LOST ANIMALS: Beaufort County Animal Services takes in hundreds of lost or stray animals each year. North Carolina Law only requires stray pets be held for 72 hours. If you have lost a pet, contact our offices immediately!
FOUND ANIMALS: The shelter has extremely limited capacity and cannot accept stray animals without an appointment. Always call before picking up a found animal and do not pick up a found animal if you are not able to hold it.
